Melissa Jackson
ECC Guest Faculty- Movement Analysis
MJ, Guest Faculty for The Juilliard School.
She’s been training dancers from NDT 2, Martha Graham Dance Company, Ballet BC and ABT Studio Company. Her students have performed with NDT 2 and Complexions. Her choreography was presented at the Joyce Theatre alongside Cedar Lake and Peter Chu. Also, presented work 4 times in festivals such as McCallum Theatre, Tessandra Chavez Unity show and Edge Annual show. She’s on faculty with Revive Dance Convention, Principles ballet summer program and National Dance Honors.
She teaches Movement Analysis, which is the isolation within the work that creates integrity and how movement is stemming and awakening from these sources of ideas.
